The Preppy Mahjong Club | League Open Play

Welcome to the club! Join Mah Birdie Bam for The Preppy Mahjong Club, a fun and fabulous night of League Open Play with classic country club style, preppy vibes, and a little friendly competition.

Play well. Look cute. Get those Bams. Think pink, navy, green, stripes, bows, and your favorite preppy style! Dressing for the theme is always optional, but we love when you join in on the fun.

LEAGUE OPEN PLAY

This is a Play for Points event! Players will rotate tables throughout the evening, record their scores, and earn points toward the Race to 500.

Expect a fun, friendly night of Mahjong with a little friendly competition, prizes, and plenty of opportunities to meet and play with other members of our Mahjong community.

Newer players are welcome! If you've completed Mahjong 101 and understand the basics of the game, you can join us. A beginner-friendly table will be available for players who would like a little more time and support.

Please note: League Open Play is not an instructional class. Players should already have a basic understanding of American Mahjong. If you've never played before, Mahjong 101 is the best place to start.
