It’s game time at the Mahjong table! Join Mah Birdie Bam for Game Day Mahj, a fun night of League Open Play with football, tailgate vibes, team spirit, and a little friendly competition.
Rep your team. Bring your game. Wear your favorite college or NFL team colors, jersey, T-shirt, or game-day gear! Dressing for the theme is always optional. Whether you’re cheering for the Wolfpack, Tar Heels, Pirates, Blue Devils, Panthers, or another favorite team, everyone is welcome at this tailgate!

Cost: $15 per person
This is a Play for Points event! Players will rotate tables throughout the evening, record their scores, and earn points toward the Race to 500.
Expect a fun, friendly night of Mahjong with a little friendly competition, prizes, and plenty of opportunities to meet and play with other members of our Mahjong community.
Newer players are welcome! If you've completed Mahjong 101 and understand the basics of the game, you can join us. A beginner-friendly table will be available for players who would like a little more time and support.
Please note: League Open Play is not an instructional class. Players should already have a basic understanding of American Mahjong. If you've never played before, Mahjong 101 is the best place to start.
